  2. Adverb Review • Adverbs ending in –ē are connected with 1st and 2nd declension adjectives. • Examples: ADVERBS ADJECTIVES Laetē– happilylaetus, laeta, laetum - happy Pulchrē– beautifully pulcher, pulchra, pulchrum- beautiful

  3. Adverb Review • Adverbs ending in –ter are connected with 3rd declension adjectives. • Examples: ADVERBS ADJECTIVES Fortiter– bravelyfortis, fortis, forte - brave Audacter– boldly audax, audax, audax- bold

  4. Adverb Review • The comparative form of adverbs is the same as the neuter nominative singular of comparative adjectives. • Examples: ADVERBS ADJECTIVES laetius– more happily laetior, laetior, laetius - more happy fortius – more bravely fortior, fortior, fortius - more brave

  5. Adverb Review • The superlative form of adverbs ends in –ē. • Examples: ADVERBS ADJECTIVES laetissimē – very happily laetissimus, laetissima, laetissimum - very happy fortissimē – very bravely fortissimus, fortissima, fortissimum - very brave
