  2. What are Epidemics? • Epidemics is a Wide Spread disease that can get you infected. The Swine flu is a common Disease.

  3. The Last Major Epidemic • The Swine Flu is a infectious Disease caused by pigs or hogs. • It started first in 2009. • Symptoms include: • A Fever • Shaky Chills • Coughs • Sore throat • Tiredness

  4. Why is It a Problem? • The problem is that if you catch or have the disease, you will get very sick and could die

  5. What is being done? • Medics are Researching new ways to cure the Swine flu and H1N1.

  6. Why is this Relevant? • It is Relevant to us today because of the stuff like the swine flu in 2009, and 2009 was only 4-5 years ago (it means it wasn’t too far ago so it could come back)
