Introduction Your Induction programme will consist of: • Getting to know the service, orientation around the building, fire safety and introduction to staff and service users • Familiarising yourself with policies/procedures/protocols and signing these • Discuss support networks such as the line management structure, staff team, supervision, team meeting, and training programme. Dates will also be issued • Receive project specific information and training to support you with regarding the project, e.g. cooksafe, health and safety, medication procedure, petty cash and introduction to care plans • An introduction to the project vehicle will be given, in regards to your roles and responsibilities and this will be followed up by an assessment by a competent person. You will be given time to complete the organisations drivers’ form and will expected to produce driver’s licence.
