GREECE. Greece is known from the ancient times as Hellas. Greece is a country in South Europe. About 11 million people live in Greece. Greece has 1400 islands with many beaches. It also has wonderful mountains like Olympus where people go to enjoy nature .

  3. Greece has 1400 islands with many beaches. It also has wonderful mountains like Olympus where people go to enjoy nature . It has beautiful rivers and lakes too.

  4. Athens ,with the famous Parthenon, is the nation’s capital city

  5. THE WEATHER • Greece has very hot summers and mild winters. • It rains very seldom and it hardly snows. • That’s why tourists love Greece.

  6. Lifestyle • Family, church, traditions are important for Greeks. • The Greeks celebrate many religious festivals yearly. • Most Greeks are very friendly and helpful. They would open their homes up to anybody. Family is very importantto the Greeks.

  7. PROBLEMS • In the last years in Greece there is an economical crisis. • That’s why people can’t find job easily and there are many poor people.

  8. MY OPINION • I think that Greece is a very beautiful country and the most beautiful in the world for me. I don’t want to live in any other country ever.
