Understanding Adverse Weather Recovery for Employees

Adverse weather recovery processes for employees differ based on full-time and part-time status. Full-time employees who log more than 40 hours automatically qualify for recovery under policy 9512, without needing to take further action. However, if the 40 hours include leave, the policy must be invoked to override the leave hierarchy. Part-time employees must physically work more than their required hours to qualify for adverse weather recovery. Understanding these nuances is crucial for ensuring proper management and employee support during inclement weather events.
