  1. Welcome Back To School Agriculture Science

  2. Expectation • Be in your assigned seat when the bell rings. • Respect yourself and others. • Do your own work. • If you need to leave class = a tardy. • Come to class prepared.

  3. Rules • No hats allowed in the classroom!!!!! • Only one person talking at a time. • You may bring drinks or treats to class, until they become a distraction. • The first wrapper not thrown away, or spilt drink not cleaned up will end this privilege. • Align your desks and be in your seats until I excuse you to leave.

  4. Be Prepared, Everyday • Bring your text book • Pen or a pencil • 3 ring binder with your assignments • Be on time

  5. Bell Quiz • A bell quiz will be given daily • It will be worth five points • Four minutes after the bell rings the computer will turn off the quiz • Bell quizzes can’t be made up • Three bell quizzes will be dropped per term

  6. First Quiz of the Year!!! • Follow the directions exactly • This quiz will be worth 50 points!!! • Take out a sheet of paper and put your name on it

  16. Mr. Russell’s Younger Years • I was born and raised in Tooele, Utah. • I was raised on a sheep and cattle ranch. • I liked FFA and agriculture. • Hobbies: hunting, fishing, camping, water and snow skiing. • I raised purebred Suffolk sheep, and traveled around the U.S. Showing them.

  17. About Me! • Mr. Nyle Russell • I live in Benjamin, Utah I’m married. • Have three boys who attend Spanish fork schools. • I coach and enjoy watching my boys play baseball, and other sports. • This is my 12th year of teaching in Payson.

  18. Goals for the School Year • Learn, have fun and enjoy being in class. • Continue to have the best FFA chapter in the state, and one of the best in the nation. • Have everyone participate and learn. • Everyone earn an A each term. • Everyone have a good SAE.
