  2. L’abbondanza di risorse idriche del Molise soddisfa i fabbisogni della Campania, della Puglia e dell’Abruzzo. Sui due fiumi con maggiore portata, che attraversano il Molise, sono stati costruiti due laghi: il lago di Occhito e il lago di Guardialfiera. Questi vengono utilizzati per fornire acqua soprattutto per il settore agricolo sia per le colture intensive e sia per le colture arboree. Le modalità di irrigazione usate sono le seguenti. Patate e fagioli si coltivano per subirrigazione ovvero si prevede l’intervento dei gocciolatori che si trovano a contatto con le radici. Ortaggi (pomodori, insalata, cavoli, cavolfiori, finocchi) e tabacco si innaffiano a goccia ovvero l’acqua viene somministrata in piccole quantità che passa attraverso dei tubi di gomma forata alla base delle piantine; le barbabietole si innaffiano a pioggia ovvero l’acqua viene spruzzata dall’alto. I cereali e i vigneti si innaffiano per scorrimento ovvero l’acqua scorre sul terreno in pendenza. Gli uliveti si innaffiano a goccia con tubi forati che attraversano le chiome degli alberi e lasciano scorrere l’acqua lungo i tronchi.

  3. The abundance of water resources satisfies the demand of the regions Molise, Campania, Puglia and Abruzzo. Along the two greater rivers which cross the Molise region, there are two lakes : Occhito Lake and Guardialfiera Lake. These are used primarily to provide water for agriculture both for intensive farming and and trees farming. The methods of irrigation used are the following . Potatoes and beans are grown for subsurface irrigation, it provides the usage of drippers that are in contact with the roots.

Vegetables (tomatoes , lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower , fennel ) and tobacco are watered by dripping water so small amounts of passes through the perforated rubber tubes at the base of the plants, the beets are watering or rain water is sprayed from the top. Cereals and vineyards for watering down or the water flows on the slope.
