  3. LYNDON B. JOHNSON The 36th President of the United States was Lyndon B. Johnson from November 22,1963 to January 20, 1969. During his administration he signed into the law the Civil Rights Act initiated major social service problems and “bore to brunt” of national opposition to his vast expansion of American involvement it the Vietnam War

  4. Sports figure Wilt Chamberlain one of eleven children. His parents William & Olivia Chamberlain were devoted workers. When he was little he helped around his neighborhood with odd jobs for money. When he was young he had many medical problems. When he was a toddler he got a sickness called “hernia” and it required surgery. He almost died in the fourth grade when he caught pneumonia. He had problems with infected mosquito bites on his legs as a teen. When Wilt was playing basketball his average was 50pts a game. He was 7’2 dominant player and nobody could stop him. In 1967 he led the Philadelphia 76ers and in 1976 the Los Angeles Lakers to an NBA title. A quote from Chamberlain; “They say that nobody is perfect. Then they tell you practice makes perfect. I wish they’d just make up their minds”

  5. The life of an American teen in 1967 The world was a much freer place to teens in 1967. Teens could walk the streets at night and very seldom have any trouble. There was a lot of racial hatred. Teens felt that everyday. We listened to the “Motown” sound and the British invasion. Almost all the dances had a name. Teens then wore mini-skirts and short shorts. Jeans weren’t that fashionable for school until the last 60’s. Most families had two parents. Most of the mothers did not work.

  6. My opinion I find 1967 a very boring but interested time period. I find it boring because there’s no hi-tech technology and most of the people were still in their racism days. However I also find this time period interesting because of their culture. For example the way they dressed, how they treated one another, and what they did to occupy themselves or their time. Most of the people got along with one another in the same neighborhood. To occupy their time they did yard work or hung out with friends. They didn’t worry about what they wanted they were focusing on the thing they already had.
