This project focuses on creating a habitat model to identify potential Grizzly bear sighting locations in a national park. By analyzing various environmental factors such as land cover types, species richness, and interspersion of species, we aim to determine areas that are most conducive for Grizzly bears. This geospatial analysis is crucial for conservation efforts and understanding Grizzly bear behavior and habitats. The study references significant research undertaken by Agee et al. (1989) on the historical Grizzly bear populations and their geographical distribution.
