  3. Strategic Plan2016 - 2021Executive Summary Since 1965, Community Services of Northeast Texas, Inc. (CSNT) has successfully assisted thousands of low-income families throughout Northeast Texas. To build on this success and forge an even stronger organization, the CSNT staff and Board of Directors established a comprehensive strategic planning process in April 2016.

Strategic Plan2016 - 2021Executive Summary The purpose of the strategic plan is to ensure that CSNT continues to discover new ways to create real and sustained value tolow-income families in the years ahead. The following Strategic Plan outlines CSNT’s strategy and objectives for operational excellence and growth opportunities to serve the needs of low-income families throughout Northeast Texas.

  5. Strategic Plan2016-2021Organizational Profile Community Services of Northeast Texas, Inc.(CSNT) is a private 501(c)3 non-profit corporation established in 1965. CSNT is a Community Action Agency organized to help families break the cycle of poverty. CSNT currently provides services to low-income families living in the following counties: Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Rains, Red River and Titus counties.

Strategic Plan2016-2021Organizational Profile CSNT’s programs and services include: • Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) • Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) • Head Start • Adult Nutrition • Salvation Army • Targeting Local Communities • Texas Veteran Commission – General Assistance Grant (pending grant) • HOME – Tenant-based Rental Assistance (pending grant)

EmpathyI seek to understand. When I can see issues from another’s perspective, I can be a greater help to them. ReliabilityI maintain reliable standards, keeping appointments and promises, and never letting anyone down.
