  2. PREMISAS BÁSICAS DEL PROGRAMA ICM • Excelencia sobre: - Investigación científica de frontera - Formación de jóvenes científicos - Redes y proyección externa • Jóvenes investigadores con evidente potencial para desarrollar un Centro de Excelencia hacia impactos en ciencia e innovación C&T

  4. RESULTADOSQUINTO CONCURSO DE PROYECTOS PARA LA CREACIÓN DE NÚCLEOS CIENTÍFICOS MILENIO

  5. PROCESO • Se recibieron 63 postulaciones (julio 2006) • Evaluación y selección por Comité de Programa (8 destacados científicos extranjeros) = 18 seleccionados →proyectos definitivos (septiembre 2006)

  6. 11 finalistas (diciembre 2006) • Entrevistas por Comité de Programa (enero 2007) • Resolución por Consejo Directivo

  7. Al mismo tiempo: • 4 Núcleos Científicos terminan en 2007, postulan a renovación competitiva, frente a nuevas postulaciones • Propuestas para renovación, evaluadas por miembro Comité de Programa y especialista extranjero (2006): Informe • Análisis de informes por Comité de Programa y entrevista a los 4

  8. ADJUDICACIÓN DE PROYECTOSPARA NÚCLEOS CIENTÍFICOSConsejo Directivo ratificó y adjudicó todos los proyectos recomendados por el Comité de Programa:- 5 Núcleos nuevos- 3 Núcleos Renovados

  11. DOS NUEVOS INSTITUTOS CIENTÍFICOS (en orden alfabético)

  12. RESUMEN ADJUDICACIÓN: • 5 nuevos proyectos para Núcleos Científicos • 3 Núcleos renovados • 2 Institutos comienzan actividades
