November 18th, 2013 Miss Stocksdale Kindergarten (602) 237-9120 ext 3238 astocksdale@laveeneld.org Our Weekly Learning Teacher’s Corner Soaring to Success: November Goals This month, every student is expected to know 43 phonograms (the first sound of each letter plus the two letter phonograms we are learning), 22 sight words from List 1 and 2, as well as count to 50, and write their first and last name. Meeting each monthly goal will help your child stay on track for meeting their Big Kindergarten Goals We are writing a class book! Each student is writing about what they what to be when they grow up in our class book. In order to get this book published, I must have the book form that was sent home on Thursday signed and returned for every student ASAP, even if you mark “NO.” Please contact me if you have any questions. Please be sure to visit our class website for additional information, resources, and class pictures!  • Weekly Reminders • There is a half day on Wednesday, November 20th. Students may pay $1 to “dress down” if they choose to do so.
