  3. Aims of the meeting • Expanding the partnership between SPC and InWEnt • Exploring the New DLP program • Agreeing on the proposal of the program (Scope, Objectives and Dates) • Exchange and Discussion

Individual Organisation System Fostering the decision-making and action competence of men and women Enhancing the performanceof organisationsin the public and private sector Promoting the political ability to respond to change and manage reform Capacity Building Levels - Model Individual Results orientation

Based on the knowledge and skills acquired at the partner institution, managers, middle and junior executive staff of various departments, ministries and other stakeholders in the think tank and international cooperation fields plan and implement the parts of development goals that are falling within their sphere of responsibility and competence and with the perspective of building effective networks. Program goal / Impact The competence of the SPC is strengthened in the fields of Objective 4:Product development (Multi -disciplinary research ) Objective 5:Improve development goals/Regional and international networking Objective 1:HR / ODpartners Objective 2: Managing People & Leadership Objective 3:Decision Support & Think Tanks Results/ Output Build command of working techniques for International cooperation/ Networking Human resources /(internal coordination) Best practice and innovative tools Clarification of mandate/strategic objectives of partners Development of Policy/Research papers (economic, social, political, cultural, etc) Coordination of national/regional development guidelines and concepts Design of InWEnt programs - DLP Objectives / Outcome Leaders/participants know and are able to apply Steering Groups Regional / project related workshops-dialogue Custom Tailored Short-term workshops and study tours Strategy Development Blended learning Activities/ input Coaching and consultancy Alumni activities

What is Development Leadership Program (DLP) - 2 • DLP aims • To improve: • Competencies for National development goals • International cooperation skills • Building Capacities within Partner Institutions meeting their own Goals • (HRD and Management Skills) • DLP framework: • To work in close consultation with partners in Egypt and Syria on: • objectives - target groups - contents • WHY? • Program orientation towards the needed skills (institution/country) • To offer Human resources development and international cooperation services in: • Within the partner institutions (human resources and management competences) • Stakeholders coordination
