Who we are… • We’re a spring-board for undiscovered talent. • We specialize in promoting and bringing to the public’s eye, new and exciting artistic people. • The artists/entrepreneurs must exhibit excellence, positivity and great skill. • Our goals include promoting small entrepreneurships by showcasing them in our articles and ads. • We are a group of young, positive, professionals. This is what we plan to exhibit at all times!

  4. WHAT WE COVER… • We’re subject focused. Each month we have a theme. We’re hoping to feature musicians, artists, fashion models, and civic leaders. • Our 3 pillars are: Art, Fashion, and Culture • Art: Visual and Performing • Fashion: Style, Beauty, Hair, & Health • Cultural: Events, Food, Wealth, & Community

  5. TONE of SimplyELEVATE • We hope to have fun, upbeat articles with a slight sense of humor. • Keep in mind that we want the magazine to be family-friendly. • Let’s keep it all PG-13.

  6. ASSIGNMENTS • There are 2 types of assignments: Field and Desk • Contracts need to be signed by Nov 9th • We will have a photo-shoot after the meeting • Need everyone’s biography by Nov 16th • Everyone please find at least 2 candidates to interview. Notify me or Candace for final approval.

  7. Most Recent Status • The LLC’s paperwork is in progress. • The website, FB page and Twitter accounts are active. • I have created/modified templates for the magazine using Adobe InDesign.

  13. In Retrospect… • Here’s how we got here….. • God works in mysterious ways…A disagreement over my cell phone bill spawned the seperation of the Palmer family from it’s creation 5Seven Artistry Magazine. • It has been rebranded as 5Seven Magazine. • Do you want to hear the details?
