  4. We Will Learn • How to start PowerPoint and choose slide layouts. • How to choose backgrounds, font face, font size, and font color. • How to insert pictures and clipart. • How to insert new slides. • How to save your presentation.

  5. Starting PowerPoint and Choosing Slide Layouts • Click the applications icon on your desktop. • Click the PowerPoint icon. • Right click on the slide and choose slide layout. PowerPoint icon Choose slide layout

  6. Choosing Backgrounds and Fonts • To choose the background right click on the slide and click background. You can choose a color or a picture. You may also choose to apply this to one or all of the slides. • We will use three tools from our tool bar to create our font today. First choose the font face. Then color and size.

  9. Choose font color here. First click this arrow. Then click more colors. This box will appear. You will choose the color here.

  10. How to Insert Clipart & Pictures • Click Inset at the top of your screen. Move your arrow down to picture and slide your arrow over to clipart or fromfile. Insert Picture Clipart From File

  11. How to Insert New Slides • There are two ways to insert new slides. Your first option is to click Insert at the top of your screen and then click New Slide. Your second options is to simply click ctrl m. Insert New Slide

  12. How to Save Your Presentation • You must first decide where you wish to save your presentation. We will be saving ours to the desktop today. First click File at the top of your screen. Then click Save As. A box will appear. This is where you will title your presentation and then click save. Let’s do this together.
