Contra Costa College • The Contra Costa Human Services • Psycho Social Rehabilitation • one of 6 certificates in the Human Services Program (see our complete program brochure for more information) Overview of the Certificate Program • Number of units: Total units 12: Each course is 3 units This certificate consist of the following courses • HHS-223 Introduction to Case Management • HHS-226 Introduction to Counseling Skills • HHS-228 Introduction to Psycho Social Rehabilitation • HHS-229 Psycho Social Rehabilitation and Recovery • With a course substitution of • Psych 132-Introduction to Abnormal Psychology

Brief History of theContra Costa College Program • Established in 2011 with the assistance of CiMH • Partnerships with counties : Contra Costa CountyPartnerships with agencies • Funding info: Our program was developed under severe economic hardship. However through funds from CiMH, we have been able to sustain the certificate courses for the PSR
