Yeats • Born in 1865 in Dublin, Ireland • Around 15 years old he started to further his education in painting but realized he loved poetry • Became involved in the Celtic Revival • He was one of the founders of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin • In 1922 he became a Senate of the Irish Free State • He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1923 • In 1939 he passed away at the age of 73
