Transport • Transport comprises three levels – T1 & T2 cars and T3 & T4 buses • Tata Motors are T1 & T2 fleet provider • Delhi Govt. is providing driver training – language, courtesy and hospitality • DTC will provide T3 and T4 transport: • 574 low floor, air-conditioned buses • For athletes, technical officials and media • All buses with special access and seating

  35. Transport • Security escorts will be provided with each bus • Bubble to bubble movement to the extent possible • Hub and spoke transportation for the media • Specially marked lanes on key roads for speedy movement

Sports • Competition schedule finalised • Competition Managers, International Technical Officials and National Technical Officials have been appointed • Sports equipment received and installed • Training venue to open for training 23 Sep onwards • Over 3,100 sports specific volunteers recruited • 1,408 medals to be won

  38. Venue Operations • Venue teams led by Venue Administrator have moved into the venues (along with core Functional Areas) • Tabletop exercises conducted to check operational readiness

Broadcasting • Largest live television coverage for any Commonwealth Games – including US and Canada • Extensive coverage through • Network 10 and FoxTel in Australia • TVNZ in New Zealand • BBC in United Kingdom • SABC in South Africa • BON in Nigeria • Asia Broadcasting Union (ABU) for key Asian Commonwealth Countries • Domestic TV rights with Doordarshan

Doping Control World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) accreditation National Dope Testing Laboratory (NTDL) is in place for Delhi 2010 A Dope Centre has been set up at the Games Village while the Command Centre will be at the Games Headquarters The CGF has approved a test distribution plan of 1500 doping control tests, 250 blood tests, 150 EPO tests and 150 Pre-Competition tests

Medical • 386 doctors, 262 nursing staff, 103 physiotherapists & 95 massage therapists with 179 medical students as volunteers comprise the medical workforce • 64 ambulances and 857 support staff of ambulance crew and first aid staff to offer round the clock ambulance services • GB Pant Hospital, JPN Apex Trauma Centre (AIIMS) and Ram ManoharLohia Hospital are the three designated hospitals for the Games

SECURITY • Delhi Police is the key agency for security. • A state-of-the-art police control room (Central Command and Control Centre and Intelligence-C4i) set up at the Delhi Police Headquarters will receive live images from CCTVs from across the city. • Security arrangements can be broadly categorised as • Athlete security (Airport, Village etc) • Venue security (Competition and Non Competition) • In – transit security • Emergency Management
