  2. Agenda • Summary Update • Current Activities Updates/Talks: • Ken Domann - Project Status & Updates • Bob Zwaska - University Collaboration with PIP

Update General Info • Current Work • Booster RF cavity rework – Two cavities waiting (1&3) – 3 is at MI-60 • Tuner Work – Working on completing a group of cones (done this week)Three tuners ready for installation before the Christmas. The plan is to pull a tuner in a couple of weeks. • LCW – Jobs remaining: MP02/DOG re-hosing, repair L5 choke LCW manifold, repair leak at L1-2 manifold, replace "Y" strainer valves leaking (7), re-hose reference magnet • RFQ – Beam down to NTF, Intensity at about 23ma, Efficiency about 88% • Visit BNL, Work on Steering, Work on E-Lens, Work on Buncher, RFQ low level ctrl. • HPowerNO word yet but rumor has it that we will not get lost $$ • Booster Absorber – Kicker and PS work continues – One steel block was modified and will be delivered this week. • Linac Modulator – EE support has built a small test setup - • Booster SS: All but RF17 in, RF 9 tested, DCC’s need testing, PA’s need to be mounted in West Gallery, Fanback system needs calibration: ALL BY Jan 1st • Booster Modulator work – shipping two on Friday, Two on Wed., 3 after the following week. The goals for 17 stations for startup. • Cogging – Software work continues • Booster Shielding – Safety meeting today to go over current status Shutdown - comments (Fernanda, Todd, Mary) End of Fiscal Year – Not much change – There is still some FY12 –> FY13 funding discussions occurring

Upcoming • RLS – updates went out yesterday • (Elmie is gone but not forgotten – Ken is now the controls person) • Reports (upcoming) • Reid on “lessons learned” Booster Cavity Refurbishment • PIP talk at PAC • PAC released their recommendations on Monday – • Visit web site for details but MiniBooNE was not given a recommendation to continue to run – not helpful for Booster commissioning.

Upcoming Talks Future Meetings: • December 5: • Jon Reid - Collected results from first four cavity refurbishments, new-ferrite tuner, potential stem interface modifications, and cavity 1013 CY Tan - RFQ Installation and Startup Plans (TBC) Fernanda Garcia - Linac Startup Plans • December 12: • Todd Sullivan - Booster Startup Plans • To be scheduled: • Alex Macridin - Simulations of Transverse Instabilities Dan Wolff - Linac Modulator Prototyping. • Dave Hixson - Booster LCW Upgrades Final Report
