  1. Osseo Softball 2008 - 2009

  2. Agenda Items • Tryout dates are March 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 • We will be selecting teams on the 13th • You need to be cleared BEFORE the 9th , which means all forms, physicals, & fees in athletic office at HS. • Be sure to bring you glove, indoor shoes, appropriate clothing • If you make Varsity or are on the bubble between V and JV, scrimmage on Saturday 7-11 PM • You will be assigned a tryout number, have that on your t-shirt. Numbers will be posted on Friday, March 6th

  3. Junior High Players • We can’t let anyone play until they are cleared • This takes time, so having it done before the 10th is the best way. If you can’t make it to the Athletic office, bring it to the first day • If we think you would fit better on an upper-level team, you will be invited to those practices; otherwise you will be with your age group. • Day one bring your softball stuff, we will check out lockers, so you can leave your stuff here • We start each day at 3:15 and practice to about 5:00 PM • There are activity busses from MGJH & NVJH to bring athletes here and late busses to get people home (or approximately), if needed.

  4. ALL PLAYERS • You must go on to our website and register • This will enter your information into our database • We (the coaches) are the only people who will use or see this information. • www.osseofastpitch.com • You must do this BEFORE tryouts • This is in addition to registering with the school

Afterschool practice schedule • Day 1 • HS - will meet at 2:15 in room 204 for about 20 min. • JH – will meet in front of the main gym upon arrival • Day 2 – 4 will meet in East Gym • Plan to practice each day until at least 5:30 (indoors might be 6:00 if you are a catcher or pitcher) • Mandatory Parents meeting on March 16th at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria • You and a parent must attend • Uniform kits will be available then and you must have the uniform fee with you.
