  2. About Me… • I went to Century College in White Bear Lake • I then transferred to the U of MN • I have been to France, Spain and Peru • I have a dog named Kitty • I have worked with kids ever since I was in 4th grade

  3. Classroom Pets • We have a pet hamster • Teaches kids: • Responsibility • Trust/Friendship • Stability • Is fun for the children • Brings out frustrations • Let the kids be themselves

  4. Field Trips • Science Museum • Roller Gardens • Orchestra Hall • Health and Body • Gibbs Farm

  5. Snacks • Animal Crackers • Hard work • Once a week • One piece of candy • For doing good during prep • During the week of major state tests I give them juice and animal crackers each day.

  6. Classroom Rules • The students listen when a teacher or guest is speaking • Most important: respect your classmates • Stay on task • Accomplish work on time • Have fun! • Learn something new everyday!!
