Stone Age day. Mammoth hunt. After Mrs.B showed us the bathroom and where to get a drink, we put our bags down and started tracking. . As we were walking along the track, we kept seeing huge mammoth foot prints, disgusting sometimes sloppy mammoth poo and bits of soft mammoth fur.

  1. Stone Age day

  2. Mammoth hunt After Mrs.B showed us the bathroom and where to get a drink, we put our bags down and started tracking.

  3. As we were walking along the track, we kept seeing huge mammoth foot prints, disgusting sometimes sloppy mammoth poo and bits of soft mammoth fur.

  4. Here’s another picture of a mammoth footprint in the grass.

  5. As we started climbing, we suddenly saw a group of bison staring at us. We walked past them as quietly as we could.

  6. On the way we took some pictures of the view.

  7. We kept climbing and climbing as it kept getting hotter and hotter.

  8. Then finally we found the mammoth. Yay.

  9. After that we had to walk all the way back down the steep hill to have morning tea and a drink.

  10. This is us having morning tea.

  11. Cave painting After we grabbed a pot of paint and a paint brush, we paired up with a buddy. I went with Liv. Then we went down to the rocks and started painting.

  12. When we painted on our first rock, we swapped paints and changed rocks.

  13. I swapped my old pink paint to a different pink paint which was a bit wet. It kept drooling down my rock looking a bit like blood.

  14. After that we went back to get ready to make our groups fire.

  15. Making fire After we came back we went down the road to get some dry cabbage leaves.

  16. Then we got some dry grass, some sticks and some big pieces of wood.

  17. We grabbed the matches and we all had a go at lighting the fire but it kept blowing out.

  18. Then finally we did it-we made the fire. Yay!

  19. After that Mrs.Bwent to get the rabbit fillets. We all had a try if we wanted to and I did.

  20. When we were doing that the smoke blew in our face and it stung a little but I didn't care.

  21. Then finally, yay, the rabbit fillets were cooked. It was a bit burnt down the bottom but it was delicious. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

  22. weaving Afterwards we went down to Mrs.B’sdeck and split 5 pieces of flax in half.

  23. We put a few pieces of flax down and went under and over. It got really hot though.

  24. Then I folded the pieces in and then I was done. After that we waited for the rest of the cars to come to take us back to school.

  25. These are the dogs.
