Join us on an unforgettable journey back to the Stone Age, where we discovered woolly mammoth fur and footprints that brought ancient history to life. As we climbed steep hills, we faced the thrill of encountering bisons while enjoying breathtaking views. We learned the art of skinning rabbits, which was both fascinating and disturbing, as we explored the insides of the animal. Under the guidance of Reiner, we gathered materials to create a fire using flint, despite the smoke being a challenge. This adventure was full of excitement, learning, and unique experiences!

  1. THE STONE AGE DAY

  2. The Mammoth Track

  3. On the way we found some woolly mammoth fur.

  4. We also found some foot prints.

  5. This is where it stood

  6. This is me holding wolly mammoth fur. It was really soft

  7. It was really tiring going up the steep hill. I felt like I was going to die

  8. It got a bit scared when I saw the bisons.

  9. This is a bison close up.

  10. The view was beautiful.

  11. Woolly Mammoth We finally got to the top and reached the mammoth.

  12. Morning Tea

  13. Reiner showed us how to skin a rabbit.

  14. I realised it wasn’t that bad.

  15. It was really disgusting.

  16. When we gutted it we saw the heart, lungs and other things that’s in its body.

  18. We finally got started. I pulled off the skin. It felt wet. I nearly spewed up because of the blood and intestines ad those other things but luckily I didn’t.

  19. These are the bits of the rabbit.

  20. When we finished gutting the rabbit, it looked liked this.

  22. These are the dogs Poppy and Unser.

  23. Shaetaught us how to use the flint.

  24. Before we started the fire, we had to go and collect twigs, wood, dry grass and cabbage tree leaves.

  25. I DID NOT LIKE THE SMOKE!

  26. We put them in the fire.

  27. It was hard to throw the spear at the moving target.

  28. IT WAS FUN!
