About G-TEN Semester 2, 2012 G-TEN, the Grampians Region Teacher Education Network, is a membership organisation offering a wide range of high quality professional learning designed to meet the needs of its members. What’s new for G-TEN in 2012? We have a number of new categories: Leadership Development – this year Leadership Development professional learning opportunities are  being offered through  G-TEN, and can be viewed in a NEW Leadership Development category. Many of the programs will be decided by a working party of current school teachers and leaders who meet regularly. This group formerly developed and promoted programs for the Assistant Principals and Aspiring Leaders’ group. Graduate and Returning Teachers - A range of programs specifically designed for graduate and returning teachers can be viewed through the category on the left of the screen. Personal Development – This category will include all sessions to do with your development – eg: First Aid, G-TEN Design Space on Ultranet: This year all resources for professional learning programs will be accessed by DEECD employees though our new Design Space on the Ultranet. (Search for number 52280047). Have a browse around the site for information and G-TEN news. In designing the suite of programs offered, ideas are gained from G-TEN participant responses and also from input from other key stakeholders across the Grampians Region to ensure identified professional learning needs and regional priorities are addressed. The program allows relative novice users to create and edit music tracks using music loops or recorded instruments and voice. Participants will need to bring their own Macbook notebook with Garageband installed as well as a set of suitable headphones.
