  2. MAPS What is a map? A map is a flat representation of the earth that can show you cities, countries, states, and world trade marks.

  3. GLOBES A globe is a sphere model of the earth that can show you cities, countries, states, and world trade marks just like maps.

  4. MAP vs. GLOBE Both maps and globes are the same because they both show the earth and cities, countries, states, and world trade marks on earth.

  5. Maps- A diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea showing physical features, cities, roads, etc. • Globes- A spherical representation of the earth or of the constellations with a map on the surface
