Far-field Approximation • In general cases, the term in the source term should be the divergenceless component of the current density. • However, the authors assign it as the projection of current density perpendicular to the observational direction : • This is in fact a far-field approximation. In general, the divergence of the projected component does not vanish. It vanishes as r →∞

  5. How to Get • We have to get without far-field approximation. • Trying to figure out how this can be done numerically.
