Investigating the Role of IGFBP-5 in Tumor Growth and Blood Vessel Formation in Various Cell Lines
This study explores the expression and impact of IGFBP-5 mRNA in HEK293, MRC-5, SKOV-3, and MDAH-2774 cell lines. By assessing tumor volume (mm²) and number of blood vessels per tumor section, we evaluate the role of IGFBP-5 in tumor progression. Additionally, we analyze the effects of various concentrations of IGF-1 on IGFBP-5 expression, using anti-IGFBP-5 and anti-β-actin as controls. Supplementary Figures outline experimental data supporting our findings on VEGF interaction and tumor vascularization.
