  8. Math Workshop • Opening • Work Time • Closing • During this time we will discuss your discoveries, and you will be given time to make a daily reflection in your Math Notebooks

Math Workshop • Opening • Work Time • Closing • Extension Activities • Extension activities will be located in the large multicolored pocket chart • You may select an extension activity once you have completed your assigned product or task • Extension activities will consist of math games we have learned, independent activities or computer programs such as First In Math

  12. Title Page At the END of class you will be given time to decorate your title page, so we are going to SKIP the front page.

  14. Notebook Rules Notebook Rules • NEVER ERASE YOUR MISTAKES… Mistakes are your pathway to discovery. If you make a mistake simply draw one line through it. • No RIPPED OUT pages or torn corners • Notebook should be used for MATH CLASS ONLY • All entries must go into the Table of Contents • Your notebook should be neat, every entry should be titled, and every entry must have a date and page number.

  16. Skip the first page as you will save it for your title page. We will use the next 4 pages (front and back) for your table of contents. Please fill in the chart below on ALL 4 pages. After completing step 2, in the right top hand corner number the rest of the pages in your book (front and back).

  17. Title Page Getting Started: The Title Page • You may now go back and personalize your title page. • Your title page should have the following: • A cool title for the notebook: • ex. Marvelous Math!! • Your name: (self-explanatory) • The year: 2012 – 2013 • At least 4 Pictures of Math type stuff
