  2. Background and Overview Current plans relating to Self Directed Support for adults and children; • Brent • Hammersmith and Fulham • Hillingdon • Royal Borough Kensington and Chelsea

  3. Service User Involvement • Service users been involved in developing some of the specifications for Self Directed Support Services • Service users will be involved in evaluating tender submissions for the Framework • Existing Direct Payment users in four boroughs will be involved

Introduction The Framework is to procure Self Directed Support Services in the following areas; Lot 1 DIRECT PAYMENT SUPPORT SERVICE (Adults) Lot 2 SUPPORT PLANNING AND BROKERAGE SERVICE (Adults) Lot 3 DIRECT PAYMENT SUPPORT SERVICE (Children & Young People) Lot 4 SUPPORT PLANNING AND BROKERAGE SERVICE (Children and Young People) To express an interest providers should register on the London Tenders Portal at www.londontenders.org. Service specifications and PQQ will be available from early June

Support planningand BrokerageAn example of Key Provider Activities • Researching what is available for the service User • Helping the Service User to define the outcomes they want • Working with the Service User to assess the advantages and disadvantages of the choices available • Information giving or sign posting • Drawing up Support Plan

  6. Brokerage (Arranging and finding services) • Supporting the service user to arrange/implement services • Supporting staff in accessing information about service providers
