St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and HSPE Testing Schedule Information

Join us for the St. Patrick’s Day Party on March 9th, 2013, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at SWCDHH. If you attended, remember to write in your journal and submit your ASL notebooks. Important testing for 10th graders and eligible juniors/seniors will take place March 12th and 13th. A late start is scheduled for testing, followed by state quizzes and a timeline project due March 28th. Don’t miss your chance to volunteer at WSD—meeting on April 10th. Bring your completed packet for the background check!

  3. ASL Notebooks • They will be given back to you by this week Thursday. • People who missed the test on Friday have one day to make up the test. COME TO TUTORIAL.

  4. Tuesday Bell Schedule:HSPE Testing 2013 • ALL 10th Grade and any Jr. or Sr. who has not passed or not taken HSPE will be testing. An automated phone call home will remind students of testing dates and times. Also, testing dates, times, and room assignments will be posted on the students’ Skyward schedule.   7. Thursday- US Map quiz • You will need to know where each state is on the map. • This is actually done in 3rd grade; so you should know the 50 states by now. • You can go to Youtube to practice the 50 state signs… yes this means HOMEWORK!

  8. DEAF AND HEARING TIMELINE PROJECT IS DUE MARCH 28TH • If you are not able to complete this at school… it becomes your homework. • The date will not be moved for anyone. • Anyone on an IEP or 504 or person with extra support has enough time to finish 8 slides.

  9. VOLUNTEERING AT WSD • IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER AT WSD; YOUR L;AST CHANCE IS TO GO TO THE MEETING ON APRIL 10TH. • BRING THE VOLUNTEER PACKET (FOUND ON WSD WEBSITE UNDER “VOLUNTEERS”) FILLED OUT WITH • $10.00 FOR THE BACKGROUND CHECK.
