  4. POPULATION Mexicos population was estimated to be 113,724,226.

  5. CAPITAL CITY The capital city of Mexico is Mexico city.

  7. AVERAGEINCOME The average income for a Mexican household is one quarter of an American household income: Mexico’s Average Income: 7,300 U.S. Average Income: 27,756

  8. Industries Main industries in Mexico can be divided into three groups: the service sector, the industrial sector and the agricultural sector. The service sector covers 70 %, the industrial sector covers 25% , and the agriculture sector covers 3% of the Mexican economy.

  10. Religion About 88% of the Mexican population is associated with the Roman Catholic Church and about 6% are Protestant. Christian denominations represented include Presbyterians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Mormons, Lutherans, Methodists, Baptists, and Anglicans. There are small Greek and Russian Orthodox communities there is also small numbers of Jews, Buddhists, and Muslims.

  11. HOLIDAYS AND FESTIVALS • Cinco de Mayo is celebrated on may 5th on this day they celebrate when Mexico defeated the French army. They celebrate their independence and freedom. • El Grito de Independencia is celebrated on September 16th celebrating Mexico's independence. • Los Dias de Los Muertos is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd this holiday is honoring the spirit of family ancestors. • Las Posadas is celebrated on December 16th-25th this holiday is to remember the long journey of Mary and Joseph.
