  2. FACTS II Early Load • BRD will use preliminary undisbursed data to create the FACTS II MAF on the 5th workday • FACTS II will open on the 5th workday 2pm 3rd quarter – Monday July 10, 2006 4th quarter – Friday October 6, 2006 www.fms.treas.gov

  3. Monthly Treasury Statement Process SF 224 due by 3rd workday 1 2 • Late and supplemental 224 reporting: • 4th – 6th workday Monthly Treasury Statement finalized on 6th workday 3 Final undisbursed balances available to agencies on 7th workday 4 www.fms.treas.gov

  4. Current FACTS II Process Requests files 7th workday (overnight process) 1 2 BRD creates the FACTS II MAF on the 8th workday BRD performs internal verifications 3 FACTS II opens on the 9th workday 4 www.fms.treas.gov

  5. New FACTS II Process • Request Preliminary Files • 4th Work Night • Overnight Process 1 2 • Load Preliminary Files • Create MAF (5th Workday) BRD performs internal verifications 3 • Open FACTS II Window • 5th Workday, 2p.m. 4 www.fms.treas.gov

  6. New FACTS II Process, cont. • Request Final Files • 7th Work Night • Overnight Process 5 6 Load Final Files on the 8th Workday Rollback status from Certified or Pending Cert to Editing for changed data 7 BRD performs 2nd internal verifications 8 www.fms.treas.gov

  7. New FACTS II Process, cont. 9 BRD notifies users of any changes to their data • BRD will notify users of all data changes • regardless of FACTS II Status • Notification will come via email www.fms.treas.gov

  8. Headquarters Reviewer Role • HQ Reviewer may view data and print reports for the entire department • Now have capability to do the same for allocation accounts www.fms.treas.gov

FACTS II Recertification • Supervisors must recertify FACTS II users June 1, 2006 Email to supervisors and users June 14, 2006 BRD will begin follow up calls to supervisors who have not responded June 26, 2006 BRD will begin revoking users who have not been recertified. Users must reapply for access to FACTS II.
