Day 1 – Today we are going to: Discuss colors found on the “Color Wheel”. Talk about complimentary, primary and secondary colors. Begin our leaf color wheels. First we will trace each leaf with a sharpie, then we will write a color on each one. Goal: Students will create Fall themed projects in order to demonstrate an understanding of color theory and blending techniques.
Day 2 – Today we are going to: Review Autumn Leaves project and see if there are any questions. Continue adding primary colors to our leaves in order to create secondary colors. Spray with water and put on the counter to dry. Clean up for class dismissal. Goal: Students will create Fall themed projects in order to demonstrate an understanding of color theory and blending techniques.
