Memahami makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal sangat sederhana untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat 3.Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal sangat sederhana untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat • Basic Competence : 1.2 Merespon makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) yang menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan sangat sederhana secara akurat, lancar, dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat yang melibatkan tindak tutur: meminta dan memberi informasi, mengucapkan terima kasih, meminta maaf, dan mengungkapkan kesantunan 3.2Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan sangat sederhana secara akurat, lancar, dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat yang melibatkan tindak tutur: meminta dan memberi informasi, mengucapkan terima kasih, meminta maaf, dan mengungkapkan kesantunan

  2. Indicators • The indicators of the study are: • Students repeat the gratitude and feeling sorry expressions given by the teacher. • Students respond the gratitude and feeling sorry expressions given by the teacher. • Students do adjacency pairs make a short dialogue using the gratitude and feeling sorry expressions and practice in front of the class.  In the end of the Study: • 85% of students are able to repeat each of the gratitude and feeling sorry expressions modelled by the teacher verbally and correctly. • 85% of students are able to respond each of the gratitude and feeling sorry expressions modelled by the teacher verbally and correctly. • 80% of students are able to respond each of the gratitude and feeling sorry expressions given by the teacher verbally and with the correct pronunciation, stress, and intonation. • 80% of students are able to prepare/make an adjacency pairs using the given expressions in pairs in 5 minutes.

  3. Activity 1 : you will learn have you ever said thank you or express your sorry feeling to your friend? Here are some examples of gratitude and feeling sorry expressions which can you use. Let’s check these out! when you want to express your gratitude, you can say..  • Thank you • Thanks a lot for.. • I’m very grateful for.. • Thank you very much • Thanks a million • That was nice of you, thank you and when someone says thank you to you, you can reply it by saying.. • it’s my pleasure • don’t mention it! • you’re welcome • don’t worry about it • that’s okay

  4. Activity 2 : Vocabularies and pronunciation a. Vocabulary • come : datang • sorry : maaf • party : pesta • gift : kado • thank you : terimakasih • help : tolong/ bantuan • bag : tas • pencil : pensil

  5. b. intonation • Could you come to my party tomorrow? ( raising intonation ) • May I help you to bring your book? (raising intonation) • Of course, thank you. ( falling intonation) • I can’t help you now, sorry. (falling intonation) • Thank you for your gift Ara. ( raising intonation) • Sorry Martha, I didn’t mean to do that ( falling intonation) • That’s OK.(falling intonation) • Never mind. (falling intonation)

  6. Activity 3: example and practice There are examples of gratitude and feeling sorry expressions. Study these dialogues and pratice in front of the class. Desi : may I borrow your English book Asih? Asih : yes of course, but please return it tomorrow Desi because I need it to do my homework. Desi : thank you Asih, I promise to return it tomorrow. Sakura : Ran, is this your book? Ran : Yes, this is, where did you find it? Sakura : I found it on the street yesterday. Ran : Thank you Sakura. How lucky I’m. I can’t imagine if this book lost. I love it very much.
