  11. Activity 4: Example Here is an example of invitation. Clara: any way, how is your task? Suzan: well, I’ve finished it, and how about you? Clara: yeah, me too. By the way, next week is my birthday. Suzan: oh, great. Clara: so, I will have a birthday party. Suzan: sounds so nice. Clara: So, would you like to come to my birthday party? Suzan: alright, my pleasure. Clara: okay, I’ll be waiting for you.

  12. Here is an example of agreement . Anny: By the way, did you watch the movie last night? Bety : Yeah, of course, I love it. Anny: I agree with you. That movie gives me inspiration. Bety: Well, we’re in the same boat. It was a fantastic movie. Anny: You’re right. I so much hope that I can watch that movie once again. Bety : I hope so.

  14. Activity 5: Exercise Instruction: • Work in group. • Choose one of four kinds of expression below: a. Expression of invitation b. Expression of agreement c. Expression of compliment d. Expression of Congratulation • Please remember that your group’s topic discussion of expression is different from other group’s discussion. So that every group is discussing different kind of expression. • After you choose your group’s topic discussion, now your job is to make a list of expression that you choose. • Please take a note that you need to make a list of the expression as many as possible. • After you finish making the expression list, now your job is to share your group’s findings to another groups. • So now you need to join and share to other groups.
