Partner Program Mission • To identify organizations and service providers with the common goal of developing affordable state wide broadband services designed to improve the quality of life for all Ohioans, by increasing access to services in areas such as: education, workforce and economic development, healthcare, and community development.
What are our goals ? Facilitate the deployment of affordable Broadband Services in Ohio Improve economic competitive environment in Ohio through increased broadband availability Increase educational opportunities for advanced courses and workforce training/retraining Improve healthcare by providing greater access to quality care Support innovation in the State by providing network resources for research and development opportunities Enables efficient connections between researchers across the country and the world.

Ohio Broadband Council Supporting Outreach Subcommittee on the development of affordable broadband solutions for Local government Focus on delivery of internet and intranet services to provide better access to services and creating an environment conducive to community development. State of Ohio Office of Information Technology (OIT) Development of Access RFP for Ethernet services next generation SOMACS Developing joint budget for OIT and OARnet designed to facilitate affordable broadband services for all users.
