  13. Helpful Hints/Reminders Homework Agenda • Homework is copied daily. • A copy of the six day schedule is in the back. • Weekly spelling words are written in “Words of the Week” section. • All assignments can also be found on teacher pages.

  14. Helpful Hints/Reminders Harrison Folder • Transports homework and important notices to and from school. • Folder placed in backpack immediately upon completion of homework.

  15. Helpful Hints/Reminders Study Habits • Study guides are given for tests and quizzes approximately one week before test date. • Prepare a little each night, well in advance. • Use agenda as a tool for creating a study schedule. • Well-lit, quiet study area,

  16. Helpful Hints/Reminders Policy for Absences • It is the student’s responsibility to see the teacher for work missed when not in class. This includes an absence or leaving for band, GT, forensics, etc. • Check teacher websites for homework assignments • Homework requests cannot be filled until 3:00 pm. • If your child is absent, please remember to notify the office.
