Plans • August 10th – 20th • Get SCS-2000 working as much as possible • Do acceptance test of DRS mezzanine board (new PCB) with one prototype, then start mass production (200 boards) • Set-up test facility for DRS2 chips, needed for mass production (chips from factory are untested!) • Design auxiliary board to interface to trigger bus • September 10th - End October • Assemble and install final DRS boards in area (the board installation is rather quick and can be done on a Wednesday) • Partial system probably ready by beginning of October, full system maybe by end of October, depends on external assembly company • Calibrate all DRS boards in the area (can now be done automatically) • Optimize readout speed DAQ should be ready sometime in October 06
