  1. Superstars 2014 September Holiday Activity Dear Parents Summer Superstars will run on Monday 1st, Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd September 2014. Summer 2014 will see some NEW activities in the programme enabling pupils a greater variety to choose from over the days. Activities on offer during the course will include: Rugby – Mr Irving will be working on all you rugby skills, tactical development and fitness! Hockey – Mrs Green will be helping you polish up your core skills, with fun activities & game play. Horse Riding – Mrs Latham will be looking at stable management, riding skills and more! FAB Activities (indoor & outdoor) – Mr Blomfield will be doing games, challenges, swimming and even more in the new sports hall! Art & Craft – Miss Finn will be exploring textiles and clay and all things Arty! Mountain Biking - Mr Burgess, new senior housemaster, will be testing you all on your riding skills using the vast areas that we have to explore around Sandroyd. Please ensure your children have a gum shield for rugby and gum shield and shin pads for hockey. A boil in the bag gum shield is more than adequate. The Superstars Summer course will start at 9:00am and conclude at 4:00pm daily. Half day or single sessions are available, please specify on the registration form. Participants will be required to provide their own lunch, snacks and drinks during the day, however during the course a tuck-shop and cake store will be available to compliment participants own provisions. The cost of the course will be £40.00 per day per participant or £22.50 per session per participant. The cost of the course can be charged directly onto the school bill or alternatively please make cheques payable to Sandroyd School Trust Ltd and return with the registration form attached for the attention of Mrs M-L Green. The Summer Superstars course 2014 is open to children currently in year 3 to 8 at Sandroyd School and any of their friends or relatives. Please return the registration form to the school office no later than Monday 30th June 2014. Places will be limited so please reply as soon as possible.
