  5. Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

  6. Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

  7. Deut 24:1-4 1. When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

  8. 2. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. 3. Deu24:3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and givethit in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

  9. 4. Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

  10. He explains how marriage was originally designed. • He addresses why divorce was created and when it is permissible. (I Cor 7:15,,27,28) • The term “eunuchs” is metaphorical term used to describe abstinence. (see I Cor 7:7,32,33)

  11. I Corinthians 7 1Co 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

  12. 1Co 7:27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

  13. 1Co 7:28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

  14. What about the 7th commandment? THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY. What about the rest of the commandments? Can anyone keep the law?

  15. I Cor 6:9-11 1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

  16. 1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  17. 1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

  18. Who has committed adultery? See Matthew 5:27,28 Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

  19. Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

  20. How did Jesus interact with those accused of adultery? Remember the woman at the well? Remember the woman who was about to be stoned by the group of men? How did these two events conclude?

  21. Pro 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

  22. 6 things that God hates Pro 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

  23. Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

  24. Pro 6:19 A false witness thatspeaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

  25. Who is free from sin? Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

  26. Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

  27. Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

  28. Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

  29. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

  30. Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

  31. Romans 8:1 Rom 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

  32. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

  33. Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

  34. Conclusion: Far too often people that commit inward sins, only seem to talk about outward sins. Equally, those that commit outward sins only seem to talk about inward sins. Yes, Jesus was right in saying “from the beginning it was not so”, but that’s why Jesus came!
