  2. ICE Quote • You need at least one quotation for each paragraph. • Use the worksheet to help remind you what you do when you use a quote. • Introduce it – give context to your quote. Don’t just drop it in. If the quote shows how the light bulb cut down on fire hazard, give me a sentence explaining it before you put in the quote. • Cite it – give the author’s last name, then use a word like “argues,” “writes,” “explains,” etc. • Explain it – tell me why it means your invention is the most important invention in the world.
