Rosa Parks: A Bold Stand Against Segregation on a Montgomery Bus

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks, a 42-year-old African American woman, made a courageous stand in Montgomery, Alabama, by refusing to give up her seat to a white man on a city bus. This act of defiance became a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement, symbolizing the fight against racial segregation and inequality. Parks' refusal to move was rooted in her belief in equality for all, and her bravery sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott, ultimately leading to significant changes in the struggle for civil rights in America.
