Conclusions : ThomX originality X Ray source geometry • X ray Source Compton interaction • Flux 1013 ph/s • Source Geometry : cône • energy distribution Lorentzienne : 45 keV@50 MeV • X ray energy adujstement with electron beam energy • Source size in user area ~ 10 cm • monochromator, X ray focussing • Technical challenges : • High mean power laser : 100 W • Fabry-Pérot cavity finesse : 30000 - gain = 10000 • Keep alignement at interaction point < 50 µm
