  4. How would you describe it to someone? What does is feel like, look like? • What does it look like in the movies? • What is the benefit of one say compared to horse and carriage? • What does it mean to the West and to the American Indian? Traveling by train….. How many of you have?

  9. Practice on your own. • Open to pages 66-67 in the atlas. • Repeat what we just did together, but on your own. • You have 20 minutes. • When done, return the atlas, but keep the paper out. On your own … Using Indian lands to feed the nation.
