This study investigates the molecular weights and localization of key proteins within U937 cells. We analyze proteins such as GAPDH (37 kDa) and clathrin (190 kDa), and assess the phosphorylation status of VCP at 97 kDa in the membrane, cytosol, and nucleus. Techniques like Coomassie staining are deployed to visualize protein bands corresponding to various molecular weights, including 62 kDa and 67 kDa. By comparing normalized VCP levels across different cellular compartments, we gain insights into the molecular dynamics and regulatory mechanisms in these cells.
