  2. The Condition • Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice; 21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks… Proverbs 1:20-21 • What are you pursuing? • Why are you pursuing that specific thing? SEEK wisdom

  3. The Pursuit Wisdom as a “path” shows: • What it is: skill for life • Who has it: walkers, not standers • How to get it: by steady perseverance SEEK wisdom

For the wise men of old the cardinal problem had been how to conform the soul to reality, and the solution had been knowledge, self-discipline, and virtue.
