  2. Habitat • The cheetah is usually found in Africa but can sometimes be found in Asia.

  3. babies • Cheetah babies are called cubs • A mother cheetah can give birth of five cubs at a time. • A cheetah can be born any time of year. • The mom gives birth in a safe place away from predators.

  4. Predators Humans are cheetahs’ predators. They catch them to help them hunt other animals.

  5. Food • The cheetah eats almost any meat it can find. • But it mostly eat gazelles and impalas. • They also eat antelope, ground birds, zebras and hares.

  6. Appearance • Cheetahs have arched backs and long tails. • The black patches by a cheetahs’ eyes are called tear stripes . • It is because they are in the same place that a tear drop would fall.

  7. Special • There are only two types of cheetahs the African and the Asian cheetah. • Cheetahs can purr like a house cat and chirp like a bird.
