  3. Introduction Introduction Cheetahs are mammals. They live in the African grasslands. Cheetahs are endangered animals. Before there used to be over 1,000,000. Now there is only a few thousand left.

  4. Body Cheetahs run about 70 miles per hour (110 kilometres per hour)! Cheetahs are wild cats with long legs. Black stripes near the cheetah’s eyes protects from sunlight

  5. Food Cheetahs hunt in the day time. Cheetahs eat antelope.

  6. Life Cycle Female cheetahs give birth to 3 to 5 cubs at a time. Females chirp to call their cub . Cheetahs live about 10-12 years.

  7. Fun Facts Female cheetahs chirp to call their cubs. The name cheetah comes from an Indian word meaning “spotted one”

  8. Glossary Endangered- too many are being killed or dying so there aren’t enough left in the wild.
