  1. Sahuarita Unified School District SUSD School Counseling Department Implementing an aligned K-12 “ASCA National Model” program.

SUSD School Counseling Program • The Sahuarita Unified School Counseling Program has been developed by school counselors trained in the ASCA National Model for School Counseling Programs. • The National Model was Approved as SUSD Board Policy, Fall 2008. • The School Counseling Program at Sahuarita Unified School District is designed to support student academic achievement through the implementation of the ASCA National Model.

  3. SUSD School Counseling Program • The mission of the Sahuarita Unified School District Counseling Program is to maximize the academic and personal potential of all students, helping them to become responsible and productive members of society.

SUSD School Counseling Program • Academic Domain: Supportstudentacademic achievement. • Personal/Social Domain: Supportstudent’s self esteem, self knowledge, and self awareness. • Career Domain: Support student’s career planning. • *Delivery of curriculum and services are through student participation in classroom guidance lessons, groups, individual counseling, etc.
