Understanding BCPS One and Grading Systems for Parents and Guardians

This session aims to enhance awareness of Baltimore County's STAT initiative and provide essential insights into the BCPS One gradebook. Parents and guardians will have their questions answered regarding the grading system and report cards for primary and intermediate grades. An overview of the Parent Portal's functionality will be provided, enabling access to grades, schedules, assignments, and communication with teachers. Functionality of Parent Portal • Web presence for parents and guardians to access instructional information related to their students including grades, schedules, assignments, homework etc. • Provides a communication/messaging vehicle for parents to communicate with teachers and teachers to parents. • Provides access to see the curriculum associated with classes. • Enables access to digital materials i.e. BrainPop, NBC Learn and others that can support instruction.
